Brain-shaped crispy rice treat with hidden berry filling that oozes when sliced.

# What You'll Need:

→ Crispy Rice Brain Base

01 - 6 cups crispy rice cereal
02 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
03 - 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
04 - Red or pink food coloring

→ Spooky Berry Filling

05 - ½ cup raspberry or strawberry jam
06 - 2 tablespoons seedless raspberry or strawberry coulis (optional)

→ Decoration

07 - Additional food coloring for detailing (optional)
08 - Candy eyes or sprinkles (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Prepare a brain-shaped mold or line a medium bowl with plastic wrap to create the brain form.
02 - In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
03 - Tint the marshmallow mixture with a few drops of red or pink food coloring until a brain-like hue is achieved. Stir well to distribute color evenly.
04 - Remove from heat and stir in the crispy rice cereal, mixing until evenly coated. Allow to cool just enough to handle safely.
05 - With buttered hands, press half the cereal mixture into the mold, pressing up along the sides to create a hollow cavity in the center.
06 - Spoon the jam and coulis into the prepared cavity, keeping it centered and away from the edges.
07 - Gently cover with the remaining cereal mixture, sealing the filling completely inside. Press and shape the cereal to enhance brain-like appearance.
08 - Let set at room temperature for 20–30 minutes until firm. Unmold carefully onto a serving plate.
09 - Optionally use food coloring and a small brush to add detailed brain cell ridges or highlight lines. Add candy eyes or sprinkles for extra spookiness. Slice and serve.
