02 - Taste the mixture and adjust peppermint extract or food coloring as desired. Add more extract for stronger mint flavor or additional coloring for deeper green hue.
03 - Pour heavy whipping cream into a chilled bowl. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Whip with hand mixer or whisk until soft peaks form, approximately 2–3 minutes.
04 - Divide the shake evenly between two chilled serving glasses, filling each approximately three-quarters full to allow room for whipped cream topping.
05 - Mound freshly whipped cream generously atop each shake, creating a fluffy cloud-like layer approximately 1–2 inches high.
06 - Sprinkle green sanding sugar or sprinkles over whipped cream. Top with a maraschino cherry if desired. Serve immediately with straws while cold.
